E-Christmas

Is anyone else getting more "e-Cards" than regular Christmas Cards this year?
I have gotten 4 emails in lieu of the Christmas newsletter/card...and only 2 reglular-snail-mail- Christmas cards/letters.
Is that weird to anyone but me????
It makes me feel...
EMPTY.
No warm fuzzies from ecards.
Call me old fashioned, but nothing beats getting Christmas Cards in the U.S. mail.
The colorful stamps, depicting all sorts of meanings of Christmas...
The flourish of hand written addresses and updates...
The smell of fresh-from-the-mailbox envelopes...
I'm not always on-time with my cards each year....generally they turn into "Happy New Year" cards...
But still.
I love to read all the newsy newsletters. I love to see updated pictures of people we've known over the years.
*sigh*
I guess it's just inevitable....here in this world of electronics and the World Wide Web.
