exhausted
Ever been so tired that you spend the entire day... dozing and watching tv?
I got up this morning for seminary after a week off for spring break.
After a week of staying up REALLY late and getting up relatively early.
Burning the candle at both ends.
I had every intention of getting the house, kids and myself back in our regularly scheduled programs.
Alas... I couldn't seem to do it today...
and I watched HGTV, TLC, DiscoveryHealth channels between my dozing instead.
My kids, likewise, were in the same 'recovery' mode. I had them only do 2 lessons today, some morning board work, and spelling...and veg the rest of the day. They found a "Charmed" marathon and contently watched. The two little ones played this afternoon outside at the park until it began to rain....and they came in and rested with the rest.
We're all just exhausted.
I'm ever-so-grateful for homeschool... for days like today when everyone was off-kilter and needed a down day.
