Back to basics...

Yesterday we decided to get back to doing what we should on Sundays. In the past, we've gotten caught up on computers, and movies and very little family time. We just sorta laze around... Just in the past 6 months or so. So, we decided that we would spend time together the entire Sunday. It was wonderful. We played games and talked about silly stuff. We cooked together, we did the dishes together and after one more game, the kids went to bed wayy more easily than normal, and A and I had some one on one time to talk about things we hadn't talked about in ages. It was wonderful. Today the kids are more even-keeled... and much more focused. The sleet has them a bit stir crazy, but they finished their school up in record time today... and very little fighting. We're already planning our big "General Conference Party" with new recipes and games to play in between sessions. I can hardly wait!
