Lazy Days...

Since Achilles has been gone, my days are my own.
In days gone past, I would stay up until the wee hours and do all the things I found difficult to do with little kids around.
This time, I'm too tired in the wee hours to get a thing done, so I've gone to bed.
Until last night.
The kids and I watched old 80's movies and laughed and laughed.
Movies like "The Money Pit" and "Coming to America".
The kids laugh at the clothes that were in style, and I laugh at how stupid the hairstyles were, that I just HAD TO HAVE when I was growing up.
It was great.
The last movie ended about midnight... so I scooted them off to bed so I could work on a project or two, sans kids.
The next time I looked at the clock, it was 3 am. I'd been up since 5 am that previous morning and had to get up again at 5 am. Yikes
I managed to get up, and when we got home from seminary, I decided to take a nap. Just as I finally found a deep sleep, a friend I rarely spend time with outside of church came by.
I'm not complaining because it was great to chat with her for almost 5 hours (yes, 5) about silly things, not having to do with our church jobs.
And today was the last day of Seminary for the school year. Yay me.
I'm hoping that by the next seminary school year, it will be release time!
Could I be so lucky
