Not such a great "view"

Today, we got school done early for a change... and I flipped on the boob-toob and watched the end of "the view".
I watched it about a week ago--and was not impressed. This was when Rosie was ranting about "extreme christians being as bad as extreme muslims/islams".
Now, don't get me wrong.
I LOVED Rosie O'Donnell... especially when she had her own show back in the day when she did so much for so many people. She made me laugh a lot.
She probably still does a lot...but it isn't very visual.
Then I watched today.
They had Martin Short, among others (Donny Osmond, who looked very tired)... and when he did a number promoting his new show on broadway... a heavy-set african american woman was singing her part....
Did anyone else catch this today???
EVERY WORD OUT OF HER MOUTH WAS RACIST AND OFFENSIVE.
Calling Martin Short "Whitey" at the end.
I couldn't believe how awful it was, and how no one on the panel, nor anyone in the audience seemed to be affected by the slurs and outright hateful name calling.....
Least of all Rosie, who came up after just singing her praises and kissing and hugging them like crazy.
I am sickened by any form of racism....towards ANY race.
It's not right. Not funny. And least of all, NOT acceptable.
That's the last time I will watch that show.
"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality."~~Dr. Martin Luther King
