Individually Wrapped!

Why is it that everything heavenly is individually wrapped?? Candy, chocolate and the like should come in option packets... "Individually wrapped" or "Free-Fer-ALL". I hate how high the pile of wrappers are when I have an individually wrapped treat. It makes me look like I've eaten 5 tons of Hershey Almond Kisses, when in reality, it's only been 10 or 15. Not that 10 or 15 constitutes a serving size. But, doesn't it sound better when you say "I had a handful of Hershey Kisses" rather than someone saying "How many Hershey Kisses did you eat, anyway??"while they gaze on the pile of wrappers in and around the trashcan you aimed at?? When you have a handful of grapes or a handful of peanuts..no one seems to notice much. As soon as the wrappers come into view....Judgement sets in. I don't think it's intentional....but it is instantly meted once the wrappers are around. "Look at how fat she is...does she really think it's a good idea to eat so many Hershey Kisses?" as though one must qualify to have a treat or 10 or 20. Skinny Minny can eat an entire bag and no one thinks the worst of her.....

c'mon. Do the manufacturers think that maybe it burns calories-me trying to get into the little wrapper , therefore they can claim that it's less calories than it actually is ergo I will buy it over something else because I can have more? Do they think that we will eat less because we have so many little wrappers to consider? Do they think that at any point in my life, that I will feel compelled to rethink my sugar addiction? Not on your life. I have to just improve my skills of stealth at hiding the little gold wrappers
