Mother's Day Treat: Poetry
One of my most favorite things is when my kids compose something on their very own...with their own feelings and thoughts.... L wrote me one in preparation for Mother's Day. "I think you're beautiful I think you're sweet. You're always there when I weep. You're my mother, Kind and true Dearest Mother, I love you." Love L
M wrote one too that I had a good chuckle out of....but she says it isn't the one she plans on giving me for Mother's Day. It's just a practice one.
"You're simple and sweet You have extra large feet You're family's a crowd And often very loud. You married a suitor- who loves the computer You have 2 dogs who are bed hogs You hate when their hair Gets everywhere. All in all, your life's pretty good, Except when your children Don't do what they should. Happy Mother's Day from me to you, There is no mother greater than you. Love M"
