Nuttin' much...

Idon't have much to blog...but I guess updating my life....
The end of last week was a busy one for me. Thursday, I had the priveledge of driving to Poland with my friend Carrie and her daughter Amiee. It was the first time I didn't go on a tourbus there, so I managed to get us a little lost, but I blame that on the navigator! :)
Once we arrived, we shopped until we dropped. I found quite a few Americana pieces I've been wanting...and managed to do my christmas shopping for the families we have this year. We also did a little site seeing and then managed to find our favorite little polish restaurant. I had mushroom stuffed peirogies, "puffers", a fantastic Greek Salad, and fried veggies with a fantastic cheese sauce to dip. I love going there; everytime we do, I try something different and I'm always glad I tried. The entire meal was 25 zloty, which is less than 6 euro--which is about $8. There was so much food, there was no way I could eat it all....so we all shared! It was great. We got home about 3 am---Way tired, but had fun opening up all my bags and putting those pieces in my Schrank. The next day I had to pick up a family at 8am from the airport. I was exhausted, but decided after--I would take a nap. Didn't happen. We went to bed late....just as I was falling asleep--I asked A if he would wanna go get the 6th volume of the famous Harry Potter the next day (saturday)...and his reply was "HECK NO--I don't want to get there wayy early, fight anoying jerks, who are all scrambling to buy the book I have in my hands...No thank you." I was a bit disapointed, but totally understood what he felt. I had to be ready at 4:30am to go to the Frankfurt Temple for Carrie's Son Nathan's first time. It was wonderful, but I had a tough time staying awake. He glowed and it was so worth the trip. We went out for Chinese after which was heavenly. When I came home, my dh presented me with the HP book, as well as a copy for Carrie's family. What a sweetie. The house was thrashed, and laundry was piled high....so I managed to get 8 loads of laundry done...before climbing in bed---way too late. I tossed and turned all night long...for some weird reason. So, Long story short, we were late for church. I made it through, just going through the motions, came home, fixed lunch, read 2 more chapters of HP and promptly took a 4 hour nap. I hope I can sleep tonight.
