Birthday Week...

Don'tcha just love those birthdays, when they go on for a week long?
Since my birthday fell on a Wednesday... we celebrated on Sunday...so we could enjoy it a bit longer. And... we had my in-laws over every 4th Sunday so we waited for that as well.

My mom sent me a cute card (as always) that she made, with a picture of her and me together at my dad's funeral. It was a cute little picture and it brought tears to my eyes. I can't remember a time when I had a picture of just my mom and I. It was precious. I hung it on my filing cabinet at work... where I can look at it all the time.

My aunt sent me a touching email, with words of wisdom and sweet kind words. I love that.

My husband got me clothes... which I deperately needed and the kind I really like. Plus my favorite yellow roses, and breakfast that morning before work. Sweet.
My younger kids got me various "kid" presents.... a coupon book for 'a hundred kisses' and a
free glass of water.' A couple of boxes of milk duds (my favorite) and some lip balm that I needed desperately as well.
M got me a Willow-Tree "Angel of Prayer"... I love those beautiful angels.
J got me a digital picture frame. I couldn't believe it!
My friend Angel took me to lunch gave me a cute picture of us, framed in a darling frame that I put on my desk at work. People ask me who it is all the time and laugh at our goofy faces.
My friend Candy got me two tickets to my favorite theater to see a play. Yay!

And so I feel spoiled by all the great presents.
And the great friends I have.
And the love that was shown my way.
