2 weeks!?

I had this big long post to share with you.... but don't ask me where it went.

Gone... in the big abyss that is the world wide web.

Life has kept me away from here...
I just finished month-end at work.... working long days and managing stress as best as I can.

I'm trying to keep my attitude positive and upbeat... but there are days when I really struggle with that. Mostly, I just try to avoid migraines.

We're going to Achilles's brother's house for 4th of July.
A 4 hour drive. *sigh*

To say that I am dreading it is an understatement.

I miss the lazy days' gone by when we used to sleep in on the 4th... then barbque ...and watch a great fireworks show when the sun finally sinks into the west.

The girls got home from Girls Camp last night... and turn around and go to trek on Monday.

I don't feel rested ...
last weekend, Achilles and I went to a Shakespearian Festival.... NOT to be mistaken for a Rennaisance Faire.... much to our disapointment. We drove 4 hours each way to watch 2 plays... Taming of the Shrew and Two Gentleman of Verona. I loved it, but Achilles ...
not so much. :-P

AJ shared with us this week after scouts... that he gets to be a "COIN-Something" at his camp overnighter next week. He went on to regale us with all the "coin-something" does...
Puzzled, I looked to Achilles for the translation.... except that he was just as confused as I was...
then it dawned on him....
Dad: "Do you mean "quarter-master" , Son?"
AJ: "YEAH! That's it."

Too funny.

I'll be better... I swear to write more often.
