Alone...
I'm home alone tonight.
For the first time in I can't remember how long.
The 4 younger kids went to the local theme park with Achilles, his dad, and his brother.
The oldest is attending EFY this week, although not the overnight kind...but the daily kind.
She was due to be done at 9pm but just called to see if she could go out on a huge group date with the people in her session.
YAY!
I cannot tell you how happy that makes me.
She's been so focused on school and work that she rarely makes time to socialize... except with people she works with. GAH.
She is of the mindset that she can fix all the undesireables.
I don't know WHERE she gets that.
::coughcough::
So, I'm hoping this will open her eyes to the world and realize that there are plenty of people out there who are uplifting and fun, and don't need to tear a person down. And that don't need fixin.
And who want her just the way she is.
Anyway...
So I'm home alone... get to control the TV, get to stay on the computer as long as I want, and will probably order in chinese food, and will eat milkduds in bed in a little while, while I read my book... with no one asking if they can 'share'.
