I wanna be a bear...

I'm tired.

Bone tired.

I walked a tight-rope the entire day.
Actually---nearly the entire week.
It wasn't bad stuff, just time consuming and I had to be exactly on top of my schedule for it all to work.
I'm happy to report that it all worked out pretty great...but I had to rely on my teenagers to help me out.
Man, these are the days when I L-O-V-E having independent, smart, helpful teenagers. *sigh*

My favorite part, today, was being my neice & nephew's " pick-up person. " I felt such pleasure seeing their little faces light up when they saw it was me picking them up from school today.
Truly no greater feeling.

Tomorrow we celebrate our oldest daughter's last year as a minor. The big "17".
Appropriate that there should be snow in the forecast tomorrow---the first snow in Colorado Springs of 1990 happened on this day (tomorrow)as well.
Have I ever mentioned my aversion to snow?

*sigh*

Tomorrow, for the first time in yonks...I get to sleep until I WANT to get up.
Which could mean...
oh..
say..
spring.....
*sigh*
