Handbasket included??

I have entered the 7th ring of hell and I'm a tad scared.
Achilles came home 2 hours earlier than normal from tennis.
He was hobbling.
Limping.
I panicked.
I had to mentally figure out which was his 'bad' leg...
it was the opposite.
He looked at me sheepishly...
and said...
those famous words he uttered just over a year ago, that changed our lives forever...
"Could you help me with an acewrap, I hurt myself."
Yep.
He strained a muscle in his calf of his other leg.
:::OHMYGOSHNOTTHEACHILLES::: were the first things to leap to my mind.
Who knows. He decided to stay off it last night, ice it, and go into our regular doctor today.
We find out this afternoon... with our brand new doctor.
Please oh, please pray for us. For me --- that I can keep my mouth shut and realize how painful it is FOR HIM too.
Millions of concerns have crossed my mind...and I don't like them.

:::deep breaths:::
**EDITED TO UPDATE***
Well, he didn't get the MRI because of a series of errors on the part of the DR. He is now scheduled to do the MRI Wednesday... (I guess that civilian doctors have their own set of irritations, not unlike the military doctors.) He stayed off it for the 3 days he was off...and iced and rested it. He returned to work still sore, but able to walk. We're assuming he didn't tear/blow out his achilles. Thank heavens.
