It's begun.The first thing to go on our "shut off" list is our home telephone. We rarely use it these days---as Achilles and I have cell phones. The older 2 girls had them, but tracfone sucks and I'm sick of constantly calling their customer (hah) service to try to figure out the problem. So, we'll be getting them new phones when we get settled after the big move.It seem strange to not have a home phone anymore.I love the days leading up to moving when the money isn't earmarked for luxuries.. phone, satelite, water delivery, internet...gives us a little wiggle room.So.Moving on.The trouble with living in so many places over the past 20 years is accumulating beautiful, unfortunately heavy, things.We are planning to take a trailer this move---to help offset our "weight allowance" as we are nearly 2,000 lbs over our alloted amount.A ton.Wow. I guess I was thinking figuratively ("we have a ton of stuff") but literally, we have a ton too much!And while I try to discipline myself to keep to the basics... I will forever remember the places we've been by the wonderful treasures we have.*sigh*
