Recovery..

Recouperation
I have managed to survive both the humilitation of my fall, and the pain of the throbbing ankle/otherknee. AND--at least my act of gracefullness wasn't splashed all over the internet, like HERS!
And, while my dad's prognosis is still the same, I feel better after having let the emotions out, and feel more comforted and level-headed!
And life returns to my regularly scheduled programming.
My new friend and I have found more things in common-- kids who adore each other. What a great combination!
I can tell that this is a friend that I can learn a lot from, and I look forward to spending time with her.
When in the military-it's so hard to find people you click with. Of course, you have your very best friends: Those you call and write and feel like you've never left each other, picking up right where you left off no matter how long it's been.
But when you find those friends who can ease your life, bring you laughter, and comfort where you live, it really is a blessing.
I count myself lucky to have both kinds of friends right now.
"There are not many things in life so beautiful as true friendship, and not many things more uncommon."--Annon.
