Scrooged

Totally out of my nature, I am currently auditioning for the role of "scrooge" this year. Am I getting old or is it just out of control this year? The commercialism, the parents going ape over everything their child even remotely mentions?? We put up our tree the day after thanksgiving. Listened to hundreds of hours of "The Carpenter's Christmas Portrait" (My all time favorite christmas album). Did all my shopping... and I still feel ...well, ugg. Thinking I will buy more cinnamon flavored candles...maybe that will get me in the "warm and comfy" mode.
