New Year's Resolution

What is a resolution? Each year, in my quest to better myself, I resolve to make better choices the next year. Better choices in my food intake--better choices in my words. Reading the Book of Mormon from beginning to end. I never seem to actually accomplish my goals. Why is that? I try to be really diligent in keeping the goals I set. I usually try to pick something I really can accomplish. But it never fails, about June--I have stopped being so careful to do whatever I've set as a goal. So, here are my goals for the New Year, in hopes that I will be more diligent to improve myself: 1)One day a month, I am going to do whatever I want to do. Not the mom, not the teacher, not the parent, not the wife, not the primary president. Just what I want. 2) I will get myself caught up on my scrapbooking. I need to do this for my own piece of mind. 3) I will keep my home more orderly and tidy and keep myself organized. 4)I will show more affection and love towards those I generally take for granted. 5)I will keep a journal. This will probably be it, but at least it is a journal. I will keep it in my favorites so that if anything happens to me, someone will know that I have one. 6)I will make time to read scriptures. So, that is what my plan is for 2005. I pray that I will finish up this next year and be proud of what I have accomplished.
