A little bragging on a Bacon Bit...
Between my husband and I, we have over 25 nephews.
We have 24 nieces, too.
Most of them are from Achilles' side.
Achilles's oldest sister's name is Chris.
Well, Christine to be exact.
Her maiden name (our last name) starts with a P.
And she married a man with the last name Bacon.
Yes.
Chris P. Bacon is her real name.
Go'head. Say it out loud.
Yeh.
and to make matters more interesting...
they named their oldest son, Christian. Also "Chris" for short.
Middle name? Paul.
Yes, he -too- is Chris P. Bacon.
And he just scored his own movie.
He'd assisted on several movies, including King Kong, Lady in the Water, and Dark Night, his most recent. (You'll have to scroll down to the "music department" to see his name.)
His solo debut?
Space Chimps.
While the movie isn't all that great... just mediocre in my opinion...
Nothing beats knowing someone who's name is up on the big screen.
Except being related to that someone.
We went to see his movie with all 9 of Achilles siblings.
And when the credits rolled
and saw Chris's name up there, under "Original Music By"
we all cheered.
People in the theater were gawking like we were from another planet.
We didn't care.

He always gives credit to being in the right place in the right time.
Forget all the hard work and talent he has....
