Just A Lemming?

Have you ever done things just because one of your friends want you to?
Oh, I'm not talking as a kid...
I'm talking as a nearly-40 year old person.

I'm in a bind.
I have a friend at work that wants me to work out with.
And I've tried to have a good attitude about it...
and I go.
But, quite frankly.... I don't want to.

And I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to tell that person "no."

Not because I don't want to excercise...

Although.. I don't really care to.

But because I don't want to stay an extra 1/2 hour or 45 minutes after work to make up for the long lunch to work out.

I just want to go home to my family.
As soon as I can.

But I go work out.

Because the guilt eats at me when I don't, because I feel bad.

And until I can figure out a way to just say I don't want to go,

I go.

*sigh*

Oh Lammy.

Learning to say no, is a lesson I keep relearning. It sucks.

Well I'm not almost 40 (neener neener) but I am quite sure that I'll still have troubles saying no when I get there. :P
