Weekend Madness

I know I haven't posted in ages... I just have been so caught up in life. But in a really good way.

Friday night... we played a late night game of "Apples to Apples".

And we all laughed like we haven't laughed in ages.

It was so theraputic, and wonderful.... we all wondered why we let time go past so long between times like these.

And I have my youngest child to thank for making us all play.

We finally got new cell numbers... we're officially 'locals' now. My teenagers bought their own phones... top of the line of course... and have been playing practically non-stop with them. We, on the other hand, got the cheapos that come with a new contract.

Thank the heavens above, the daughter with a boyfriend has decided she does not want to be serious with him. She had us scared a bit... but all is well. (phew).



I love the relationship I have with my kids, that they feel comfortable talking about so many things with me. We also had a wonderful breakthrough in the "DADDY-DAUGHTER" relationship that had been a bit strained. Thank heavens for small miracles.

It's back to work tomorrow... which I dread, but am grateful for a good job, a good boss, and all the blessings I receive.
