I need a nap...

It's 5pm... and I am sitting here, eating an entire bag of Pepperidge Farms White Chocolate Macadamia CHUNK cookies.

Yes.

The entire bag.

And I don't even feel guilty about it today.

We're not talking about what I'll feel later.
Say... tomorrow.

Does that give you any indication about what kind of day it's been?

It's actually been a long week... and it's only Tuesday.

Today was capped off by a visit from the 911 dispatched police officers.

Yeah.

Dispatched to my house, because of a 911 call.

Made from my house.

Without my knowledge.

And LIED ABOUT by the 9 & 11 year old who did the dialing.

And guess who answered the door of the frantically doorbell ringing, door banging officers with a hand full of chicken guts and a big butcher knife ?

Yeah. That'd be me.

LOLOL! What did they say?

Okay, I am now smiling today. Thanks for that, although I am sorry you had to have a bad day to pep up mine!

Oh, wow! That is awesome, uh, I mean awful! I started today eating english toffee in bed. So I hear ya on the cookie thing. Sometimes it just takes sugar to really help you face the day. Hang in there!

That made me laugh out loud. It will be one of those kinds of memories for you too. Maybe not today. Yipes. As the saying goes "Eat a live toad the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day". The rest of your week should be better now.

My son did that at my dad's house because he wanted to "chat with someone" and that was the only number he knew. My grandpa had died that very morning, a whole slew of crazy family members were there, I was super pregnant and dh was TDY so I was alone, I was tired and had a migraine and I could have about killed him!
The sheriff came to the door and I just burst into tears.
I didn't have a knife or guts though, you win!

Oh my, it's amazing that children live to be grown ups sometimes isn't it? The little darlings.
