Ohno.....
This year when we took the kids Trick-r-treating, we went down the street we live on and the 2 streets behind our house.
Living where we do... the majority of the people on these streets are in my church.
It was the first time in my life, that I felt the comradery of really knowing who my neighbors are. We chatted with people we knew when we first were married.... we were given hot apple cider, donuts, and all other matter of "adult" fare while waiting for our kids to hit every house on the block.
It was such a strange sensation.
Discovered something else...
THIS GUY????
Is one of my neighbors.
Lives within "trickertreating' distance from my house.
Who knew?!

I wish our neighborhood was like that. I don't know many people at all. It's almost like people are afraid to come out of their houses or something.
I had a friend who lived right next to a golf course in Park City. She's met all sorts of people just by hanging out in her backyard.
