Hale on Earth...

My friend gave me 2 tickets to the Hale Theater for my birthday....for a show last night.
I spent all of my frustrating day looking forward to this stress-free distraction.

The set was gorgeous, and I eagerly waited for the show to begin.
The first characters appeared...
The music began...

Only...

3 young adults sitting next to us (who's family member was in the show) sang the entire score of the entire show.
and not so quietly.

Hello????! Could you people be any more rude?

Why do people do this?

To show how smart you are because you know this play?

It wasn't even a very good play... sadly...

But whatever shred of fun it was... was dashed by your stupid singing and acting out the play in your seat.

This isn't Mamma Mia, y'know.
Bah.
We usually enjoy the plays at this theater very much. Their set designs are fantastic and the cast is really talented.
OH well.
Life goes on.
Of course.

Good manners sometimes means simply putting up with other people's bad manners."
