Meet Polly.

The night before I flew home from my parents,

Achilles hesitantly mentioned that an older lady at church, after hearing that Sassy died, wondered if we wanted her dog.

I asked what was wrong with her that they wanted to get rid of her.

He said that she was puppy-hyper and that the older lady couldn't keep up with her on walks and couldn't play with her enough.

A year-old jill... and a rat terrier...(our other dogs have been rat terriers.)

And so the dog was at the house having a try-out.

I groaned.

I really wasn't ready.

The first week she lived with us, she was a naughty puppy.

I didn't think it would work out....

But, finally, she's beginning to respond to discipline.

And so, after a two-week trial...

Meet the newest member of our family:

PollyAnna

She's got quite a personality.

And Puppy-hyper for sure.

She starts obedience school on Wednesday.
