My girls Friday...

I think in all the blog changes...
I negelected to mention that my oldest two daughters got their first jobs.
The oldest is working in our local grocery store. She says her official title is "Courtesy Clerk", with a giggle at the geeky title...and says it just means bagger/cart/gopher girl.
She's working some serious hours...but she loves it.
The second oldest is working as an assistant to a Pre-k/Kindergarten Teacher. She is only working 3 days a week, but loves it as well. It's perfect for her.
Neither of them work Sundays or YouthNites... and are able to attend Seminary without interuption. Wow. The blessings of living in Eutaw.

It's strange not having them here during the day...
and it has caused me to reflect on my first job.
And to reflect on the shift of our family dynamics.
Life...
It just keeps marching on.
I just wish it wasn't marching so fast.
*sigh*

Hi Lammy, thanks for visiting my blog! :D

My very first job was bagger/cart/gopher girl! Many great memories from those days! How nice that they don't have to worry about Sunday and youth nights! Yay! :D

Life moves too fast sometimes and changes even more quickly than that.

Anna's already talking about what her first job will be, and she's just 11. I guess it's closer than I realize. That's great for your girls!

Couldn't e-mail you (don't know your e-mail addy!) but yes, I know Paula Powers! You must live very close to the school my SIL works at because Paula's son Josh goes there. In fact, Josh was my DD A's first crush! He's such a sweet, cute boy -- and talented, too. When Paula and Josh went to the school to register Josh in school, my SIL called us to see if we knew them...not many people are from Warner Robins, let alone know where it is! LOL

What a small, small world!

BTW, I'm glad I found your new blog...I kept checking the other one for updates!

Time just keeps going faster doesn't it!

I am dreading when my 14 yr old gets his first job. I already feel like I hardly ever get to see him!

awww my babysitters are real working girls!

I know it goes by fast but I am really anxious for at least one of mine to get to that babysitting age. Really would make life a bit simpler around here.

But if they could judt get to that age and then stop for a while, I'd be okay with that too *grin*

I don't know if my SIL is in your ward or not -- her name is Angie Whitney. I'm not sure which ward she's in!
