"Roche Jaune" & "Le Trois Tetons"

A couple of weeks ago, while sharing our Memorial Day plans with my brother, Jym, he was kind enough to inform me that a rough translation of "Grand Tetons" was "big boobs" in French.

Thanks to him, I couldn't stop thinking of that when I captured these pictures:

We camped about 3 minutes from Yellowstone National Park for the entire weekend.

It was fantastic.

And a much needed get-away from life.

How funny. I remember hearing that name and thinking that is sounded a little like body parts, now to find out that it really is named after body parts. I don't know if you remember in Tucson there is a mountain called "Molly's nipple" at least that is what my Dad always called it! It looks just like one. God does have a sense of humor, or all of us have dirty minds!
Say hi to your sweet family for us!

Spanish - Grandes Tetones = Big Boobs. True Story, I had a companion from Rexburg and every where we went he carried a postcard of the Grand Tetons to show people where he was from. He would whip it out and people would see the 2 peaks and "Grand Tetons" and would die laughing. Poor slow fellow never understood why and I didn't have the heart to tell him. Plus it added a little spice to my life.
