Back to life...

Well, tomorrow is the day. Even tho we are technically still on vacation-----I must buckle down and start back up with school for the children. We are tiny bit behind...but I think it will be ok. It has been so fun not to have to worry about it all. A good break for me, and a good break for the kids. We will start with helping M with her Seminary work---- including all the kids. Each kid gets to do core subjects, and spelling words, piano practice, and will start their "travel scrapbooks/journals"..... shouldn't be too overwhelming. And at the end of the day--they still have the bonus of playing with their cousins. A schedule seems to steady our family.... and makes the kids really appreciate the "down time". On a side note: My parents have been quietly testing out the kids on how well I'm doing as a teacher...but in very subtle ways. My shining moment was when Dad asked AJ what he was learning in Math...AJ scratches his head for a few seconds, and then says, "The kind with the little "x" and deliberation." Translation: Multiplication and Division.

*heavy sigh* yehhhhp. I'm dusting off my "Mother of the Year" trophy as we speak.
