Don't look--I'm nekkid!
I always get a kick of the funny things kids do when they realize the "Adam & Eve" plight.......WE'RE NAKED.
AJ, one boy with 4 sisters, was getting ready to take a bath and forgot the appropriate bath accessory....GI JOE. He ran back to his room naked, and as he was walking back,he spotted a sister in the hallway.. he instantly covered his chest, leaving his "stuff" exposed. I asked him what he was doing and he said-- "I don't want her to see me naked."
hmmmm
Another funny experience...
Just after AJ was born, all 3 girls took notice of all the differences boys have...M said she loved that boys were so chubby. One of the first days I was changing his diaper, Jess asked "How come he has a ponytail down there?"
Good question.
Recently when we went to 6 flags over Holland, there was a carousel with topless mermaids on the walls. Mandie quickly covered Ellie's eyes and said "Quick, don't look". Without missing a beat, Ellie said "Don't worry, Girls are allowed to see girls".
hm Yesterday, Ellie was in her room, getting things ready for her bath. I was puttering around the bathroom across the hall, when she said "Mom, aren't my buns cute?" I turned to look and there she was, stark naked, patting her buns, showing me their cuteness. I smiled and said "Of course--their the cutest buns of any 6 year old on the planet." She then asked me if I wanted to "cush them".
In the world of Michael Jackson-- it gave me pause that someone might consider it "abusive" that I like to squeeze my baby's "cheeks".
